As a prelude to our launch on Kickstarter, we are hosting a launch event previewing the beta version of 'tether' that will be shipping out later this year. Try out a demo of the device and app, plus meet the design team to find out more about its conception, prototype and origin during the lockdown period of 2020.

goya design studio has developed tether - a connected bike safety device, which makes roads safer, happier and fundamentally changing what it means to travel across a city on people-powered transport. Creating a new form of dialogue amongst road users, improving safety for cyclists and creating a community that makes roads safer for everybody. The prototype is in pre-production stage and our beta will be launching on Kickstarter. The prototype has been developed for urban cyclists, attaching to any bike with embedded sensors and lasers that project a safe space around the cyclist, responding in real-time to other road users. The companion app records data to identify safe and unsafe zones in your city. https://www.tether.bike/
